The church does not exist for itself. The Bible records that the church exists not to condemn this crooked and corrupt generation, but to shine like a light illuminating the darkness of the universe and to share the word of life (Phil 2:15-16). Because the world needs the knowledge of the Savior and God, Jesus commanded before departing: 'Preach the gospel to all! Make disciples of all nations!' Those who respond to the Lord's call must be built up in faith to shine forth and proclaim the word of truth. To effectively carry out this ministry, one must love lost souls, become more skilled in proclaiming the message of truth, and build deep relationships with non-Christians through love and acceptance. Therefore, training is needed to penetrate society with the gospel, leading others to salvation and establishing them firmly in faith so they become strong disciples who can lead and build up others. In this way, the Kingdom of God will expand.
Discusses watering plants: when the seed of the gospel sprouts in a person's life, they begin to grow as a new plant. The sower must then take an interest in this plant's continued growth and development. The plant's goal is to bear fruit. This workbook is your guide, teacher, and encourager.
