This course provides an introductory study of the characteristics and content of each of the 39 Old Testament books. Students will read through the Old Testament thoroughly and use workbooks that explain the background, features, structure, and outline of each book. Summarizing the structure and outline of each book is a very important part of this course. Through this learning process, students will also discover that the 66 books of the Bible are one book with a consistent theme. Areas of academic debate such as authorship, dating, and literary analysis are covered only to the extent needed for understanding the text. * International seminars use the English edition 'Incredible Journey 1'.
