This course aims to help students develop a biblical view of marriage and experience deeper unity with their spouse, resulting in more fruitful ministry. The biblical design for marriage is presented with practical applications. Marriage is the first community God designed for a husband and wife to achieve the most intimate personal relationship as human beings. If marriage is compared to a building, God is the one who drew the blueprint, making it most important to know and apply what the Bible says about marriage. This course will help achieve that goal.
Unit 1 begins with an overview of the biblical foundation for marriage, studying in detail the concepts presented in Genesis 2:24.
Unit 2 covers communication skills, one of the important skills related to enhancing intimacy between spouses.
Unit 3 addresses the specific roles God designed for husband and wife within marriage.
Unit 4 examines love and expressions of love through sexuality in detail. The final lesson provides three building blocks for a better marriage along with a summary, encouraging biblical families.
