Course Overview

This course is designed for church leaders serving in various roles such as pastors and teachers. Students learn to study the Word and teach it effectively, prepare and deliver expository sermons, and establish a biblical ministry philosophy for advancing the various functions of the church. Students also discover God's vision for their ministry and develop goals and strategies to fulfill that vision.

Course Goals

Lead BEE courses.

Apply basic inductive Bible study principles to Bible study.

Evaluate oneself as a church leader and one's ministry, and develop a biblical ministry philosophy suited to one's ministry.

Write a vision statement for God's vision for one's ministry and present step-by-step goals and strategies.

Prepare and deliver sermons by applying the principles of expository preaching.
