The Beginning and Growth of BEE
Foundation
In 1979, representatives of 20 mission organizations serving in Eastern Europe and local church leaders gathered to organize an interdenominational mission agency to provide high-quality biblical education to church leaders behind the Iron Curtain.

Over 50,000 students completed BEE courses
In the early years of ministry, over 50,000 students in 15 countries studied BEE courses covering more than half of a seminary curriculum. When the Iron Curtain fell in 1992, BEE missionaries established BEE World in 1994, expanding beyond Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union to countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
