Advantages of the BEE Program
Advantages
BEE has many advantages. Here are some of the key ones.
BEE students must study the curriculum while simultaneously leading others. Learning effectiveness increases when one teaches while learning.
BEE provides high-quality ministry and pastoral education not only to young people called to ministry but also to spiritually mature adults who are already pastoring in the field. They often want education but cannot obtain it due to ministry and family commitments.
Students can serve and minister in the field while receiving education. The local church trains students to learn pastoral skills and live a life walking with God.
While educating students, BEE demonstrates real examples of evangelism, discipleship, godly character, and pastoral skills, so that students prioritize these in their own field ministry.
By educating in the ministry field itself, cultural and ethnic gaps are eliminated, and continuous field ministry is maintained.
The BEE method can educate more people than traditional seminaries. Traditional seminaries can only produce a fraction of the thousands of new leaders needed today.
The curriculum and training periods can be flexibly configured to suit various ministry environments.
Compared to traditional seminaries, there are no costs for building maintenance, faculty, or administrative staff. Since BEE pursues financial independence through indigenization, there are no costs passed to students. Therefore, BEE education can be accomplished with only a fraction of the cost of running a traditional seminary.
